Applicants should have a first degree of minimum class 2.2, in biological or zoological sciences, or a related discipline, and an interest in the environment. Applications will be considered from all parts Nigeria and the West African region.

Applicants should initially send their application directly to APLORI. Include a letter of motivation, curriculum vitae, academic transcripts, and a medical certificate. A formal application should be sent to the University of Jos. Application forms may be obtained from the Post Graduate School, University of Jos. Application must reach the university no later than 1 June for the programme starting in September. There may be scholarships available for exceptional candidates. Shortlisted candidates will be finally approved after written and oral interviews.
